The Alma Tadema bouquet creates a clear and at the same time dreamy atmosphere thanks to the harmony between the dried honesty and the fresh cosmea and celosia. The astonishing effect is suggested by the strong colour contrast and the use of light and evanescent textures alternating with more solid elements such as lotus flower capsules. The bouquet is framed by slender greenery of rural origin. Inspired by A Privileged View by Sir Lawrence Alma Tadema, 1895.

ARTEMISIA

The Artemisia bouquet formed almost exclusively of maxi burgundy hydrangeas together with millet flowers in the same palette creates an atmosphere of warm, never predictable elegance. The dominant hydrangea, in fact, manages to make the light vibrate on its multiple and nuanced flowers and, thanks to its great character, it captures and holds the gaze with the same magnetism as the brushstrokes of the painter of the same name. The addition of millet flowers creates a rhythmic variation that gives further nuance and personality. Inspired by Judith slaying Holofernes by Artemisia Gentileschi, 1620.

BELLA

The blue hydrangea is the centrepiece of the Bella bouquet, from which a circular composition of purple echinops and lagurus ovatus spreads out, which bring to mind the colour palettes of hydrangea and express a contrast between softness and angularity. Just like in the kiss between Lovers in Blue, Chagall and his wife Bella, a dreamlike and romantic atmosphere reigns, sealed by the presence of eucalyptus, almost as protective as a veil. Inspired by Lovers in Blue by Mark Chagall, 1914

The Claude bouquet gives you the impression you are walking in the flowery park of Giverny, where Monet found peace and inspiration for his famous Water Lilies. Pastel hydrangea, turmeric flower, clusters of celosia, waxflower and pink Symphoricarpos berries are perfectly mixed and like the French impressionist’s brushstrokes, exist as part of the harmony of the whole. The blue-indigo-pink palette emanates freshness and vivacity and also brings to mind the other spring flowers: wisteria, lilacs, roses, irises, etc.The circular bouquet is framed by maxi lotus flower leaves that evoke the awe and beauty of aquatic plants. Inspired by the Water Lilies series by Claude Monet, subject painted from 1899.

EDGAREDGAR_2

EDGAR

140,00210,00

The Edgar bouquet, with a rounded shape due to the predominance of flowers in a circular pattern, manages to contain within itself the snapshot of the movement, like the photograph of rehearsals in a dance hall, or on a stage. The combination of white dahlias and green santini creates a strong and playful colour contrast that makes the dahlias the protagonists and enhances a flower like the santini that is sometimes undervalued. Here, however, it become an echo of the graphic dynamism suggested by the dahlias. Adding a touch of heather, like a smudge, makes Edgar even more lively and interesting. Inspired by Green Ballerina by Edgar Degas, 1877-1879.

BRAQUEBRAQUE_2

GEORGES BRAQUE

195,00325,00

The Georges Braque bouquet of dried flowers tries to capture musical dynamism in a shape, using different elements, like in an orchestra: the consistent notes of the poppy combined with the light counterpoint of the Lagurus ovatus, the airy presence of the Nigella damascena alternating with the accents of the einkorn wheat leaves. Here, abstract and reality coexist in an elegant palette of shades of beiges and ecru. Inspired by The Portuguese by Georges Braque, 1911.

GEORGES SEURAT

135,00210,00

The Georges Seurat dried flowers bouquet has yarrow as the undisputed star, present here in both its natural and treated form. Its inflorescence composed of very small punctiform flowers creates well-defined areas of colour that bring dynamism and vitality to the round composition. As in all of Seurat’s paintings, in our bouquet of the same name too, the dominant note is constituted by the play-off between the primary shades of yellow-blue-red, here at low saturation. Georges Seurat is completed by dried statice and Nigella damascena. Inspired by Le Chahut by Georges Seurat, 1889-1890.

GUSTAV

170,00265,00

The Gustav bouquet is a warm, lasting and festive explosion, caught in the moment of maximum expansion, like a snapshot of a spark. For this reason, radial-shaped flowers such as nutan and artichoke are used, combined with more tapered liberty-inspired flowers such as lagurus ovatus and freesia. The fusion of radically different flowers can also be found in the bouquet frame, made with two varieties of greenery, eucalyptus and rustic fern. Inspired by The Kiss, by Gustav Klimt, 1907-1908.

HOKUSAI

Thanks to the majestic and graphic agapanthus, dried here, the Hokusai bouquet of dried flowers evokes distant places with an oriental flavour. The richness of the different textures that are perfectly in harmony with each other suggests the rarefied elegance of Japanese landscapes well-known in our collective imagination. The delicate oranges of agapanthus and the delicate purples and pinks of celosia are reminiscent of the nuances used by Hokusai in his views of spring dawns. The dried fern completes the design and ripples the movement. Inspired by the Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji series by Katsushika Hokusai, 1826-1833

KIKIKIKI_2

KIKI

195,00285,00

The single-flower Kiki bouquet evokes an almost dreamlike, suspended atmosphere. The dried inflorescence of cotinus coggygria, better known as the smoke tree, brings to mind the elegant drawings of nebulae seen through the telescope and while it may lead to the image of the starry sky, it remains, at the same time, firmly attached to the earth. Looking at it, one thinks of a concurrence of opposites, human vulnerability and fragility crystallised in a subtle and elegant form that seems to last an eternal instant. Inspired by the works of Kiki Smith, especially the Cathedral (Lupo) tapestry, 2012.

MATISSEMATISSE_2

MATISSE

The Matisse bouquet finds its founding elements in shapes and colours. The warm colours are contrasted and in perfect balance, the rounded and graphic shape of the zinnia dialogues with the elongated ears of celosia and crocosmia, creating a very lively atmosphere, like in a tropical flower garden. The sanded green presence of artemisia absinthium, which seems to have come out of a Matisse painting, reinforces the graphic pattern. Inspired by The Parakeet and the Mermaid, 1952.

MERISIMERISI_2

MERISI

230,00320,00

At first glance, the Merisi bouquet suggests the idea that it was assembled by collecting flowers and greenery in a park, and this is its strength. It recreates overwhelming spontaneity that immediately becomes enveloping and very elegant thanks to the purple-burgundy tones of the maxi hydrangeas and the artichoke, contrasted with the soft green of the snowball viburnum. As in Caravaggio’s painting, the light vibrates on the individual flowers and highlights their natural beauty. The bouquet has an elliptical shape, flowers with globe inflorescences prevail, with the counterpoint of more spiky shapes both in the flowers – freesia – and in the rural greenery. Inspired by the Boy with a Basket of Fruit by Michelangelo Merisi, known as Caravaggio, 1593-1594.

OFELIA

130,00245,00

The Ofelia bouquet seems to spring to life directly from the rural riverbanks, as it looks so natural. This is thanks to the use of colour shades with greens and yellows and some pink with yellow predominating and the different textures and volumes of the flowers used: fennel, celosia cockscomb and Trachelium. The presence of eucalyptus and other green leaves reinforces the rural atmosphere with elegance. Inspired by Ophelia by John Everett Millais, 1851-1852.

PAOLOPAOLO_2

PAOLO

150,00265,00

The Paolo bouquet evokes the open spaces of the countryside crossed by streams. The dominant land of Siena extends to the Tuscan horizon; the capsules and leaves of the lotus flowers together with einkorn wheat evoke the presence of water across the land. The rural tone is enhanced by the elegance of maxi hydrangea and clusters of celosia, in the same palette. The bouquet develops lengthways, and this verticality gives it its special dynamism. Paolo is very suitable for drying, as it is composed of flowers that keep their beauty intact when dried. Inspired by the Arrival of the troops led by Michelotto da Cotignola, the third panel of the triptych The Battle of San Romano by Paolo Uccello, 1455.

PAULPAUL2

PAUL

165,00255,00

The Paul bouquet immediately brings to mind the intoxicating atmospheres of remote places and, in its shape and colours, it recreates the dream of discovering regions still untouched by man, just as the Pacific islands must have seemed to the first Western explorers. As in that meeting, the bouquet brings together flowers that are exotic for us, such as the South African protea and the Australian anigozanthos with the European nutan and heather, sealed by bright greenery, including palm and monstera leaves arranged asymmetrically. Inspired by Where Do We Come From? What Are We? Where Are We Going? by Paul Gauguin, 1887.

PIEROPIERO_2

PIERO

150,00250,00

The Piero bouquet, with its bright white monochrome, is a tribute to the achromatic surfaces of Piero Manzoni and the multiple meanings and possibilities brought together in them. The white freesia and the wax flowers appear to be delineated and mixed at the same time, suggesting the flower and creating a single fragrant surface on which the light rests. With its whiteness, Piero manages to be a very versatile bouquet, suitable for the most diverse occasions and environments. Inspired by Achromes by Piero Manzoni, 1957-1963.

RENOIR

150,00260,00

Thanks to the unmistakable scent of the lily, the Renoir bouquet immediately provides an intoxicating atmosphere. In accordance with flowers such as alstroemeria, eucalyptus and lisianthus, it suggests a fresh and playful tone, like a cheerful chat with a background noise of plates and cutlery. The variegated pink palette is arranged in such a way as to make the light vibrate with elegance: shaded pinks, small streaks and darker spots suggest the sparkling idea of a day en plein air, where the sun plays between the clouds. Inspired by Breakfast of the Rowers by Pierre-Auguste Renoir, 1880-1882.

ROTHKO

ROTHKO

160,00275,00

The Rothko bouquet has a strong spatial, almost sculptural impact. It uses flowers with a strong character such as protea, celosia and turmeric, arranged in dedicated strips. Spaces are thus created that would be a single colour were it not for the presence of the wax flower which provide a nuanced touch and some irregularities. Monstera leaves add the seal to the bouquet with a majestic tone. Inspired by Untitled by Mark Rothko, 1960.

SANDROSANDRO_2

SANDRO

195,00325,00

The multi-flower Sandro bouquet is our celebration of feminine beauty. Apparently distant flowers such as nutan, crocosmia, Acacia dealbata and white rose are combined to suggest the many and changing aspects of the female spirit. Elegant in its contrasts, Sandro has a magnetic, almost iconic, power, like Botticelli’s Venus. Varieties of rippled greens in clusters add the finishing touch to the bouquet. They are reminiscent of the sea foam, while celosia rosacea recalls the famous shell. Inspired by The Birth of Venus by Sandro Botticelli, 1483-1485.

The Tamara bouquet releases a strong energy and vivacity. It brings to mind the bright atmosphere of summer Sunday tables full of friends. Very different flowers with great volume, sharpness and colour, such as sunflowers, lotus flower capsules and zinnia, are used: the contrasts and the sculptural presence create a cheerful dialogue, never subdued. Inspired by Still Life with Lemons by Tamara de Lempicka, circa 1940.

VINCENTVINCENT_2

VINCENT

180,00250,00

While being entirely one colour, green, the Vincent bouquet manages to be emotionally vibrant and suggest the idea of a continuous movement thanks to the contrast between textures, smooth surfaces versus soft and filamentous surfaces, and the use of refined and original flowers for a canonical floral bouquet, such as giant lotus leaves, green carnations and Artemisia absinthium (mugwort). The atmosphere suggested by Vincent is vivid and full of personality, just like Van Gogh’s intense, pulsating landscapes. Inspired by Green Wheat Fields, Auvers, 1890.
